De analyses werden uitgevoerd in intention-to-treat (ITT: ASCT/MT 149/146), as treated (AT: ASCT/MT 110/102), en treated as randomized (TAR: ASCT/MT 75/50) groepen.

Summary: A study in Germany and Switzerland showed that after high-dose chemotherapy for high-risk neuroblastoma consolidation with autologous stem cell transplantation resulted in longer event free survival and overall survival lthan consolidation with maintenance chemotherapy.
