Summary: A pooled analysis of the Liver Cancer Pooling Project in the USA and the UK Biobank suggests that hysterectomy (compared tot natural menopause HR 1.98; 95% CI 1.27-3.09) and long-term contraceptive use (HR 1.62; 95% CI 1.03-2.55) were associated with increased risk of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
