Summary: Long-term follow-up of the SORAML trial found that addition of sorafenib to chemotherapy for newly diagnosed AML led to significant prolongation of event-free and relapse-free survival. Although the OS benefit did not reach statiscal significance, these results confirm the antileukemic activity of sorafenib.
