De studie includeerde 63 aCSCC-patiënten die intraveneus cemiplimab 600 mg Q4W kregen gedurende ten hoogste 48 weken. De mediane duur van follow-up was 22,4 maanden (range 1,0-39,8). Objectieve respons werd gezien in 39 patiënten (62%; 95%-bti 48,8-73,9), met complete respons in 14 patiënten (22%). De meest-gerapporteerde treatment-emergent adverse events waren diarree, pruritus, en vermoeidheid.
De onderzoekers concluderen dat onder patiënten met aCSCC, cemiplimab 600 mg Q4W resulteerde in substantiële antitumoractiviteit met een acceptabel veiligheidsprofiel. Het Q4W regime zou voor de patiënten en de gezondheidszorg minder belastend kunnen zijn dan het Q3W regime.

Summary: A multinational phase 2 trial found that among patients with advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, intravenous cemiplimab 600 mg every four weeks exhibited substantial antiumor activity, rapid and durable responses, and an acceptable safety profile.
