Summary: The ONKOTEV score is a 4-variable VTE risk assessment model consisting of a Khorana score of more than 2, metastatic disease, vascular of lymphatic compression, and previous VTE event. The prognostic ONKOTEV-2 validation trial at three centers in Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom found that the score resulted in good stratification of the VTE risk in outpatients with cancer.
