Dr. Deborah Bruner (Emory University, Atlanta) publiceren online in Cancer patiënt-gerapporteerde uitkomsten (PROs) na radiotherapie voor prostaatcarcinoom in de hoge-stralingsdosis arm van de RTOG 0126 studie.¹ Patiënten in deze arm kregen of 55,8 Gy 3-dimensional conformal RT (3D-CRT) of 79,2 Gy intensity modulated RT (IMRT). PROs werden bepaald bij aanvang, en na 3, 6, 12 en 24 maanden. Er werden geen verschillen gezien tussen beide groepen in blaas-, darm- en erectiefunctie.
