Blood Immunology and Cellular Therapy (Blood ICT) is een nieuwe uitgave van de American Society of Hematology (ASH), die vanaf 2025 zal verschijnen. ASH maakte vandaag bekend dat prof. Willem Fibbe (emeritus hoogleraar Hematologie, in het bijzonder stamcelbiologie, van het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum) de eerste editor-in-chief van Blood ICT wordt. Een andere nieuw uitgave is Blood Red Cells and Iron (Blood RCI), met als eerste editor-in-chief prof. Patrick Gallagher (The Ohio State University, Columbus). ASH-president Mohandas Narla betoont zich excited to welcome two new journals led by Drs. Fibbe and Gallagher who will bring their unique expertise and vision to the Blood journals.
